Your role at zolar
ZOLAR GmbH – your digital companion for the future of energy. Through ZOLAR\’s own and external software-based services, we help our partners to increase the efficiency, quality and cost-effectiveness of their projects.
What you will be responsible for
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual closings, ensuring accuracy under HGB and IFRS
- Manage and control accounts payable and accounts receivable with a proactive, detail-oriented approach
- Perform bank reconciliations and support cash flow planning
- Ensure compliance with German tax regulations (VAT, corporate income tax, payroll)
- Prepare for audits and liaise with tax authorities and external auditors
- Streamline accounting processes using DATEV and ERP systems (NetSuite experience is a plus)
Your qualifications
- 5+ years of accounting experience, ideally in a startup or SaaS environment.
- Proficiency in HGB, IFRS, and DATEV (mandatory).
- Fluency in German and strong English communication skills.
- Proven experience in monthly closings, AP/AR, and process improvement.
- Highly organized, detail-driven, and hands-on.
