At Staffbase , we believe that learning never stops—and we’re looking for a Learning & Development Specialist to take the lead in shaping how our employees grow and thrive. In this role, you’ll have full ownership of our Employee Growth Program , driving initiatives that support continuous development, meaningful career progression, and a culture of learning.

You’ll manage our Growth Cycle process (including goal setting, growth talks, and end-of-year reviews), champion our Growth Budget , and most importantly, design and deliver impactful learning and development programs . This is a role where creativity, innovation, and ownership are key—you’ll have the freedom to shape and execute initiatives from start to finish.

What you’ll be doing

  • Owning the Employee Growth Program – Manage the Growth Cycle, ensure employees and managers have the tools to succeed, and drive engagement with development opportunities.
  • Designing & Delivering Learning Programs – Develop training that supports both individual and organizational growth, using modern learning methodologies.
  • Advocating for the Growth Budget – Encourage employees to invest in their learning, making professional development a core part of our culture.
  • Facilitating Meaningful Conversations – Support managers and employees in goal-setting, feedback discussions, and career progression.
  • Measuring & Iterating – Assess the impact of learning initiatives and continuously refine them based on data-driven insights.

What you need to be successful

  • Strong understanding of instructional design, adult learning theory, and training facilitation.
  • Experience designing and implementing learning and development programs in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills—you can engage and inspire learners at all levels.
  • A proactive and creative approach to problem-solving, with a passion for innovation.
  • The ability to take ownership , manage projects end-to-end, and drive results.
  • Comfort working with data to measure learning effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
  • A collaborative mindset—open to feedback, eager to share ideas, and always ready to help the team succeed.

What you\’ll get

  • Competitive Compensation – we offer attractive salary packages including an Employee Stock Option Plan.
  • Flexibility – we offer flexible working time models and the option of hybrid work, and support this with a yearly flex work allowance of €1560.
  • Growth Budget – all employees get a yearly budget for external training of €1000, and one day off for growth per year (increase to two days in 2nd year).
  • Wellbeing – in addition to our yearly vacation of 30 days, we’re running a 4-day-work week every year in August with full payment.
