Power System Expert – EMT (f/m/d)
Electrical Engineer

We assist energy providers and grid operators in tackling the challenges posed by digitalization in the energy sector and the integration of renewable energy sources. Our products PowerFactory , StationWare , and Monitoring Systems are utilized worldwide in over 170 countries. Your Tasks:
- Investigation of power system switching/lightning transients, insulation coordination, resonance (SSR, SSTI) and converter-driven stability
- Acquisition and execution of power system studies related to EMT
- Technical support of our national and international customers as modelling and simulation expert for power system transients
- Planning and execution of training and seminars worldwide about EMT and other topics related to power system analysis
- Development and improvement of PowerFactory application examples and guidelines
- Support of the PowerFactory-development related to EMT-simulation, corresponding models, co-simulation and corresponding interfaces
- Attending international conferences and trade fairs as well as participating in working groups in your field of expertise
- Product presentations and technical support for sales processes
Your Profile:
- Degree (Masters/ PhD) in Electrical Power Engineering
- Experience in the analysis of power system transients
- Experience with PowerFactory or other established EMT tools
- Skills in Python or other scripting languages are of advantage
- Experience with modelling in DSL/Modelica is beneficial
- Willingness to extend your expert knowledge in other fields
- Ability to communicate, collaborate and interact with clients and project members
- Willingness to travel
