Senior Sales Manager – Utility Scale Energy Storage Solutions (ESS)
An exciting opportunity has come up for a dynamic and results-driven Senior Sales Manager to join a world leading organisation that designs and manufactures Energy Storage Solutions (ESS) for a variety of industry applications, including the multi-MW grid space.
As the Sales Manager, you will be focused on driving revenue by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in the utility scale grid connected space across the German market. You will leverage your network across TSO’s, DNO’s, Developers, IPP’s and others to hit the ground running and drive the sales strategy to success.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Developing and executing a strategic sales plan.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Delivering sales presentations and proposals.
- Sales forecasting and data analysis.
Essential skills and experience:
- 10+ years’ experience in the renewable energy or energy sales space.
- Good knowledge of either BESS, Wind, Solar, or Energy spaces with direct experience selling utility scale solutions.
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies.
- Energetic and driven, with a results-oriented mindset, and history of exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication skills, English and German.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
- Ability to travel countrywide and sometimes internationally to visit clients.
