CapitalatWork (part of the Foyer Group) is a dynamic and independent asset manager for private and professional clients. For 30 years, we have been building the added value of our clients\‘ investment portfolios by applying our disciplined investment philosophy and our knowledge in estate planning. We manage assets of approximately 9 billion euros and employ around 140 employees spread across seven offices: Antwerp, Breda, Brussels, Ghent, Kortrijk, Louvain-la-Neuve, and Luxembourg.
The Business Analyst is responsible for the efficient and effective use of the resources put at disposal and the adequate achievement of the objectives that were defined in cooperation with his management.
This mainly concerns the following activities:
- Assure adequate functioning of the information systems and related interfaces of our organization.
- Consult organizations management upon the functional information processes and activities to be used in order to improve the quality, efficiency and effectiveness of business operations.
- Participate in project committees or work groups, of both internal and external parties, to respond to specific IST related topics or issues.
- Assure correct and timely response to user and management requests.
Your Tasks:
- Needs Analysis: Understand and analyze business activities and user preferences to effectively respond to their needs and contribute to the organization\’s objectives.
- Implementation: Collaborate with users to implement necessary changes and parameter settings for financial information systems and interfaces, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
- Testing: Conduct unit and regression testing to ensure the correct functioning of information flows within systems and interfaces.
- Documentation & Training: Prepare user documentation and conduct training sessions related to information systems, procedures, and data flows.
- Support: Provide proactive and high-quality responses to client and business inquiries.
- Consultation: Participate in work groups and task forces to recommend effective and efficient methodological and functional procedures.
- Quality Monitoring: Continuously monitor, evaluate, and assess the quality of processes and user servicing to ensure optimized service delivery and compliance with internal and external regulations.
- Communication: Report to internal customers on system functioning and implemented changes, advocating for proper system use.
- Project Management: Manage or participate in projects to deliver objectives within deadlines and expected quality, following recognized project methodologies.
- Knowledge Sharing: Continuously acquire, retain, and exchange knowledge and experience to optimize the performance of information systems.
Your profile:
- You will have at least 5 years’ experience in financial IT service, particularly in banking.
- You have in-depth knowledge of private banking activities (front office, middle office, and back-office processes and Olympic information system (front and back end).
- You have familiarity with tools and techniques such as SQL, Telekurs, Swift, Bloomberg, MS Office, etc.
- You have proven project management and interpersonal skills to manage or collaborate on IT projects.
- You are methodical, business-oriented, and autonomous.
- You have perfect command of French and English. Additional languages such as Lëtzebourgish, Dutch, and German are considered assets.
