Job Description:
The position is based in mathematical population genetics. In particular, the position focuses on genealogical processes under various combinations of evolutionary forces such as mutation, selection, and recombination.
Your Tasks:
- Collaboration on research on stochastic genetic processes (75 %)
- Collaboration in teaching (20 %)
- Participation in the organisational and administrative tasks of the group (5 %)
Employment is conducive to scientific qualification.
Your Profile:
- Scientific university degree (e.g. Master\’s or Diploma)
- PhD in mathematics, biomathematics, or mathematical statistical physics
- Solid knowledge in probability theory
- Solid knowledge of spoken and written English
- Independent, self-reliant and committed way of working
- Team ability
We offer:
- Salary according to Remuneration level 13 TV-L
