(Senior) Data Product Owner (d/w/m)

Your mission

As a (Senior) Data Product Owner (d/f/m) , you will be responsible for the strategic development of our Data Analytics Platform. Your mission is to design innovative and forward-thinking data solutions that empower our company to make data-driven decisions and gain a competitive advantage. Together with the Data Team, you will take technical excellence, agile project management, business understanding, and strong stakeholder management to the next level.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Product Strategy & Roadmap: Develop and maintain a clear roadmap for data-driven features and products in close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
• Stakeholder Management: Establish and maintain strong communication with business units and decision-makers to understand and integrate their requirements while actively supporting them in data-driven projects.
• Requirements Management: Collect, evaluate, prioritize, and translate business requirements into understandable and actionable data visualizations.
• Data Analysis & Insights: Lead and coordinate the analysis of large data sets, derive key insights, and leverage them to optimize and enhance existing products.
• Technology Monitoring: Identify innovations and opportunities by observing trends in the technology sector, with a focus on data analytics.

What you need to succeed

• At least 5 years of experience as a Product Owner or in a comparable role in an IT environment, along with experience in international projects.
• Fluent German and English skills, both written and spoken.
• Initial experience in leading and motivating teams.
• Experience with data analytics tools, especially Tableau, is a strong advantage.
• Strong stakeholder management skills – you understand their requirements and can successfully implement them.
• Solid knowledge of agile methodologies and processes.
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills to clearly define requirements and implement them successfully within the team.
