Job Description
Your next professional destination: lux-Airport – Findel – Luxembourg Do you know the airport as a passenger? How about working there? The Société de l'Aéroport de Luxembourg (lux-Airport) is the aerodrome operator responsible for the operation of the airport infrastructure.
Our platform provides, among other things, direct flight services to more than 100 destinations via 16 airlines. We have more than 350 employees, with different backgrounds and 19 nationalities. Together we work daily to ensure the efficient operation of the airport and to provide a quality service to our passengers.
Thanks to everyone's commitment, we live up to our motto of being the best-in-class airport. Our reputation is also reflected in a few key figures: by the end of 2022, for example, we reached 4.05 million passengers and 975,000 tonnes of cargo. In order to continue to meet our commitments and to develop other projects, we are currently recruiting: an IT System Engineer.
++++ Your responsibilities Your daily tasks Supervising all the company’s information systems Carrying out preventive maintenance operations Identifying and resolving system infrastructure problems Analysing the infrastructure and proposing relevant points for improvement Documenting the infrastructure and related procedures Actively participating in designing system architecture Participating in system, application and/or network projects Participating in drawing up calls for tenders and monitoring internal requirements Implementing, maintaining, updating and monitoring the IT infrastructure on a daily basis Managing the servers, virtual machines, the physical environment, data storage and IT safeguards Participating in audits, drafting procedures and documentation Participating in preparing the IT budget Managing maintenance contracts and renewing software licenses Participating in the integration of new employees Supporting the IT Network and Security & applications Engineer Teams ++++ The required profile Studies / training : Postgraduate degree (Engineer or Master) in Computer Sciences or equivalent experience in a similar position Experience : At least 5 years of relevant work experience in a similar function Skills and knowledge required: Languages : English: fluent spoken and written; French: fluent spoken and written. ++++ Our offer A full-time contract, with an attractive salary, based on your profile and experience, including fringe benefits; A chance to work for an internationally-known and fast-growing Luxembourgish company; A professional opportunity in the field of aviation, a high-tech sector; A pleasant, dynamic and motivating work environment, allowing you to flourish in your career. ++++ NB: the whole application process is managed by Skeeled.
