Electrical Package Manager Offshore Wind (m/f/x)
Hamburg-based asset manager for clean energy infrastructure is looking for an Electrical Package Manager Offshore Wind (m/f/x) to join the team as soon as possible and in a permanent position.
Luxcara is an independent asset management company focusing on renewable energy and related infrastructure investments for institutional investors. The company currently manages assets worth about EUR 6 billion. Luxcara is one of the leading institutions for clean energy assets due to its strong and diversified background regarding the acquisition, structuring, financing and the management of clean energy infrastructure portfolios.

Your responsibilities
Your tasks will focus on the following areas:
- Lead the technical, commercial and legal work for the electrical package covering the workstreams for the inner array cables and the grid connections with the TSOs Amprion and Tennet of our two German offshore wind projects Waterkant (N-6.7) and Waterekke (N-9.3)
- Oversee the work of contract managers, external lawyers and engineers
- Ensure the projects meet the regulatory and technological grid requirements
- Work closely with technical advisors and contractors on the interface of turbine technology, array cables and external grid connection
- Cover technical interface workstreams such as SCADA, IT and electrical TP outfitting
- Liaise between the project’s legal and technical advisors and identify and solve interfaces
- Contribute to and lead management presentations
- Work closely with project management and other package managers (e.g. WTG, T&I)
You will be responsible for the electrical package combining the inner array cables and the grid connection for two German offshore wind projects in close collaboration with other package managers and direct contact to senior management. The work covers technical, legal and commercial aspects with a focus on managing input from contract managers and external technical and legal advisors.
Your profile
- Post-graduate university degree with above-average results
- Min. 5 years technical package and/or project or contract management experience in the Offshore Wind sector
- Technical experience in offshore wind development and/or construction and/or operations
- Experience in offshore wind contract negotiations (particularly in relation to grid, cable or WTG)
- Very good technical, legal and commercial understanding of offshore wind construction and operations contracts
- Very good MS Office skills
- Very good command of spoken and written English as well as ideally German
- Very good communication and analytical skills
- Reliability, diligence and a structured and independent way of working
- Ability to work in a team, openness and a healthy dose of pragmatism
- High flexibility and resilience, personal initiative and hands-on mentality
