Cost Accounting Specialist
(m/f/d)

You will make an impact in the following way:
- Utilize SAP to maintain the global manufacturing costing system.
- Calculate and communicate intercompany pricing based on the Belden transfer pricing model.
- Review departmental expenses periodically, including preparing monthly management reports and special/ad-hoc projects.
- Coordinate the annual budgeting process, establish expense budgets, calculate burden rates, and set material standards.
- Assist with month-end closing by preparing and posting journal entries in SAP.
- Maintain master data in SAP, set up new companies or product lines, and understand system/user risks and controls.
- Coordinate intercompany reconciliations and prepare financial statements for domestic and foreign entities.
What you will bring:
- Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in accounting; minimum 2 years of progressive finance experience.
- Knowledge & Skills: Proficiency in SAP or other ERP systems, experience in preparing journal entries, and strong Microsoft Excel skills. Knowledge of HGB and US GAAP accounting principles.
- Personal Attributes: Strong organizational skills, ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, and strategic thinking abilities.
