This position is part of the global Food & Beverage Team
Technical Support and Field Engineer
Location: (Europe) Whether working from home or on-site, flexibility is top priority for us
Duration: Long term contract
Job duties & responsibilities
- Technical Service assessing our customers labelling equipment, setting up labelling machines and making sure customers operate their labelling lines most efficiently.
- Line assessments and qualifying new labelling applications
- Troubleshooting and solving existing challenges on the lines together with the customers team
- Operating various labelling machines (experience on main manufacturers required)
- Train the operators on our customers line to handle our products properly and operate the labelling equipment in the best possible way
- Properly document situation at the customer to do root-cause-analysis together with our technical team inside our factory
Requirements
- The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated professional with a proven outstanding track record in the packaging industry.
- Available to travel extensively, with a focus on Europe and potential for global assignments.
- Experience with operating and troubleshooting various labelling machines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with customers‘ teams.
- Excellent training skills to educate operators on handling products and equipment.
- Ability to document technical situations accurately for internal analysis.
