As part of Hapag-Lloyds IT Team, you lead a team of 8 colleagues located in Hamburg and Gdansk. The focus of the team is SAP Finance and Accounting. Together with the colleagues of the other SAP teams, you will be maintaining and developing the Hapag-Lloyd SAP system. You will work together with colleagues in the business and IT in Hamburg, Gdansk and around the globe. The SAP Teams in Hamburg and Gdansk are currently considerably ramping up based on our mission to migrate from SAP ECC 6.8 system to SAP S/4HANA soon.
Hapag-Lloyd uses SAP for Finance, Treasury, Controlling and Materials Management.
Responsibilities and Tasks

• You will be responsible for managing a team of eight SAP IT professionals, located in Hamburg and Gdansk
• You will support the personal and professional development of the team
• In close cooperation with the finance, accounting and tax departments in Hamburg and around the globe you will be responsible for the creation and implementation of new functions in SAP, for process consulting as well as for the maintenance and support of the finance and accounting processes in SAP together with your team
• In the upcoming SAP S/4Hana project, you and your team will be responsible for the development and implementation of the future SAP accounting and finance solution of Hapag-Lloyd
• With your creative ideas, you will act as an innovator for your team and drive new processes forward operationally, use and implement new technologies and you will actively work on your field of expertise in the system
• Evolve the way of working together with the business using Scrum oriented methods
  What you’ll need to succeed
• 3+ years‘ experience in leading an IT team of SAP experts in SAP Finance and Accounting
• In addition, you have a sound understanding of business processes, especially in the areas of Finance and Accounting and adjacent areas like Payments, Treasury and Controlling
• You have already gained extensive experience in developing, leading and managing international and interdisciplinary teams and in leading virtual team
• You have relevant experience in the development, customizing and implementation of complex SAP landscapes and in the optimization of business and IT processes
• You are familiar with different technologies like RPA, AI and machine learning
• A collaborative and empathic mindset to enable our business colleagues through our solution
• Experience in agile working methods, as if Scrum is an advantage
• Strong communication skills in an international environment paired with good command of written and spoken English
• Willingness to work at our office in Hamburg 3 days/week and 2 days remote according to our policy
  German language expectations: We expect all international candidates to be willing to learn at least the basics of the German language in case they are accepted for the position. This will enable you to participate in social and community life in Germany and at our company premises in the best possible way.
  Nice if you have:
• Understanding of HL IT Products
• Relevant previous experience in the areas of logistics or transportation
• Understanding of container shipping business is an advantage

Gemeinsam mit den Kolleg innen der anderen SAP-Teams pflegen und entwickelst Du das Hapag-Lloyd-SAP-System. Du arbeitest mit Kolleg*innen aus dem Business und der IT in Hamburg, Danzig und rund um den Globus zusammen. Die SAP-Teams in Hamburg und Danzig sind derzeit stark im Aufbau, da wir in Kürze von SAP ECC 6.8 auf SAP S/4HANA migrieren werden.
  Hapag-Lloyd nutzt SAP für Finance, Treasury, Controlling und Materials Management.
  Verantwortlichkeiten und Aufgaben:

• Du bist verantwortlich für ein Team von acht SAP Berater innen und Spezialist innen in Hamburg und Danzig
• Du unterstützt die persönliche und fachliche Entwicklung des Team
• In der engen Zusammenarbeit mit dem Fachbereichen aus Finanzen und Accounting, Konzernrechnungswesen, Steuern, Controlling, Einkauf in Hamburg und rund um den Globus, bist Du verantwortlich neue Funktionen und Prozesse zu konzipieren und zu implementieren. Die Betreuung der Lösungen und Prozesse zusammen mit dem Team, ist einer der zentralen Aufgaben.
• Im S/4Hana Implementierungsprojekt bist Du mit Deinem Team dafür verantwortlich die zukünfitge SAP Landschaft für Hapag-Lloyd mit zu gestalten und mit zu entwickeln
• Mit Deinen kreativen Ideen treibst Du Innovationen voran, hinterfragst Prozesse und setzt moderne Technologien ein und arbeitest aktive im Customizing und Betreuung des Systems.
• Du förderst die Zusammenarbeit mit den Fachbereichen und setzt dabei an Scrum angelehnt Methoden ein.
  Voraussetzungen und Qualifikationen
• min. 3+ Jahre Erfahrung in der Leitung eines Teams of SAP Expert*innen im Bereich Finanz und Accounting
• Du hast ein tiefes Verständnis in Finanzprozessen und den angrenzenden Bereichen Zahlungsverkehr, Treasury, Controlling und EInkauf.
• Du hast bereits Erfahrung in der Führung eines internationalen Teams, verteilt auf mehrere Standorte
• Du hast gute Erfahrung und Know How in der Analyse, Customizing, Einführung und Optimierung von SAP Lösungen.
• Technologien wie RPA, der Einsatz von AI und Machine Learning sind keine Fremdworte für Dich.
• Du hast eine kollaborative und empathische Haltung und Erfahrung im Umgang mit Stakeholdern aus dem Business
• Erfahrung im Container Shipping Business oder generellen Transport Business ist von Vorteil
• Du hast Erfahrung mit Methoden, wie Scrum oder Kanban und bist auch mit Jira und Confluence vertraut
• Du bist stark in der Kommunikation auf Deutsch und Englisch in einem internationalen Umfeld
