Concord Blue Engineering GmbH is a growing, innovative and internationally active company that plans, builds and operates thermal conversion plants. This process uses biomasses as well as waste and residual materials to produce high-value products such as electricity, hydrogen or e-fuels.

We are looking for Project Managers (m/f/d) for the Herten site with immediate effect.

Your field of activity and your tasks:

You coordinate complex, large-scale process engineering plant construction projects at national and international level. The projects cover all phases – from the planning phase to the completion of commissioning and handover of the plant to the customer.

You create budget and schedule plans and ensure that they are adhered to. Furthermore, you create task descriptions and master the tools of project management.

You will close the internal interfaces and lead the team assigned to the project from the implementing departments of process engineering, construction, EMSR and the commercial department.

You will lead the discussions with project partners, customers and authorities and coordinate the exchange of information with the stakeholders of the projects.

Project monitoring and reporting in terms of cost, schedule and quality to the Steering Board and to the management.

Your profile:

Successfully completed studies in process engineering, mechanical engineering, plant engineering or comparable courses of study.

Proven multi-year experience (preferably > 10 years) in managing plant construction projects in all project phases.

Experience in drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts in the context of plant construction projects.

Comprehensive knowledge of relevant standards, legislation and guidelines.

Confident command of MS Project.

Very good command of written and spoken English.

High level of commitment, decision-making ability and reliability.

You are a team player and bring a high level of commitment, resilience, flexibility and very good communication skills.

Ideally, you have certificates from recognized PM institutes in the field of project management (e.g. IPMA – certificate min. level C – or equivalent).
