This is a 1 year limited contract.

The Role:

1. Lead C&A\’s plastic elimination roadmap, ensuring plastic reduction targets are met by 2028 for both consumer-facing and supply chain initiatives.
2. Develop strategies for integrating new sustainable business models, such as resale, repair, and recycling.
3. Manage and expand C&A\’s takeback programs \“We Take It Back\“ and \“Packmee,\“ focused on post-consumer waste.
4. Oversee the growth and expansion of C&A\’s second-hand brand, \“Carou,\“ into additional stores.
5. Drive C&A\’s endangered forest policy, ensuring responsible paper sourcing with Canopy Pack4Good.
6. Represent C&A in the Fashion for Good Innovator Program, focusing on circularity, plastic reduction, and polyester alternatives.

We would be keen to speak to those with a blend of the following skills and capabilities:

1. At least 3 years of work experience in the fashion, apparel, or textile industries.
2. Fluent in English.
3. Good understanding of circular economy concepts, plastic and waste management.
4. Good understanding of apparel supply chain.
5. Ability to learn quickly; research, recommend, and integrate best practices and methods to improve current programs.
6. Experienced and interested in data management.
7. Demonstrated experience in project management including excellent stakeholder management.
8. Deep personal interest in, and passion for, sustainability topics.
