We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Packaging Procurement Manager to oversee the acquisition of packaging materials for our logistics and transportation operations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in procurement and category management, with excellent negotiation skills, and a deep understanding of packaging in the Freight Transportation and Logistics industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement advanced procurement strategies for packaging materials.
• Identify and evaluate suppliers, negotiate high-value contracts, and ensure cost-effective purchasing.
• Collaborate with logistics and transportation teams to meet complex packaging needs.
• Monitor market trends and maintain strong supplier relationships.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
• Mentor and guide junior procurement staff.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in senior procurement roles, preferably in the packaging or logistics industry.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Native or C2 level proficiency in German.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Leadership experience is a plus.
