As a Client Advisor Assistant, you will be working closely and responsible for providing support to several client advisors. You will be in direct contact with clients, actively and significantly contributing to the development of sustainable client relationships and a strong client experience. Furthermore, you will be providing superior administrative, commercial, organisational, and operational support across multiple client-related processes covering the whole lifecycle of the client families we serve.
Key Accountabilities
Commercial Support
- Support with the management of client’s wealth including the preparation of meetings, calls with (prospects or) clients, taking ownership of post-meeting follow-up actions.
- Contact clients as requested by the client advisors, by telephone, letter or in person to ensure client’s needs are met, including arrangement of meetings, annual reviews, and similar activities, support in answering client calls and responding to client queries.
- Support client advisors to establish and maintain a sustainable client relationship with the bank, actively contributing to a strong client experience and successfully acquiring new clients or assets.
Operational Support
- Accept and process client instructions such as payments, securities, and FX transactions in line with internal applicable procedures.
- Support client advisors to manage appropriately the onboarding of new clients and the opening/closing of client accounts.
Administrative Support
- Support to update and maintain up to standards KYC/KYT documentation and client data records in the banking, client relationship management, and other banking systems as appropriate.
- Prepare, check and dispatch client valuation records and portfolio statements. Support client advisors to carry out timely and appropriately risk assessment both for clients newly onboarded and existing clients in line with the internal Financial Crimes Compliance requirements and internal quality standards.
- Support to ensure that all client-related processes and transactions are carried out in accordance with applicable internal procedures.
- Assist in the handling and resolution of risk, compliance, and document-related matters in close collaboration with the specialists of Compliance, Risk, Credits, and Operations.
- Live by and demonstrate a strong Risk & Compliance culture in all relevant tasks and throughout the company. Is accountable to proactively flag Risk & Compliance issues.
Knowledge and Experience
- Financial knowledge with working knowledge of investment products, rules and regulations, Compliance (Mifid, KYC, KYT, AML).
- Master degree or proven experience in the banking sector, preferably in a client-facing function and having a genuine interest in a career in a private banking environment.
