This position is offered as a fixed 2-year contract.
What the job looks like
Each day you’ll enjoy a variety of challenges, such as:
- Lead the communication with external CMOs and API suppliers, aiming to speed up the technical collaboration between the partners and GrĂĽnenthal. The initial scope for this role is the relationship with the CMO network, with special focus in the GrĂĽnenthal global brands and GrĂĽnenthal Meds portfolio.
- Identify and provide alternatives for existing materials aiming to reduce the nitrosamine risk at different stages of the drug product manufacturing (API, excipients, reagents, packaging materials).
- Support the scouting and negotiation of new testing laboratory and CROs. Lead the commercial negotiation, pricing structure and service levels.
What you’ll bring to the table
To make the most of this role and truly thrive, you should have:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field; an advanced degree (e.g., MBA or MSc) is preferred.
- Min. 5 years’ experience in pharmaceutical or life sciences industry.
- Experience in managing and conducting negotiations as well as supplier relationship management activities.
- Experience in scouting of CRO and CDMO facilities is desirable.
- Practical expertise in procurement processes and in supporting to develop & implement category strategies are desirable.
- Business-fluent English, German and/or Spanish desirable.
