Your mission
- Conducting price negotiations, contract discussions and delivery date agreements with suppliers
- Monitoring the procurement of materials for all parts groups and ensuring optimal stock levels
- Reviewing and approving purchase orders and managing supplier communications, including evaluating and selecting suppliers
- Promoting a cooperative and efficient working environment
- Continuous improvement through regular performance reviews and market analyses
- Conducting annual negotiations with key suppliers to secure favorable conditions
- Ensuring long-term, sustainable supplier relationships and monitoring market trends with regard to price developments and new products
- Strategic input on inventory management, product substitution and sales strategies
Your profile
- At least 5 years of demonstrable experience in purchasing, preferably in a management position
- Expertise in working with ERP systems and advanced knowledge of Excel
- Proven experience in purchasing electronic components
- Management experience, especially in leading teams of up to 10 employees
- Completed studies or a comparable qualification in business administration, electronics or a related field
- Strong affinity for technical processes and products
- Excellent communication skills in German and English, both written and verbal
- Strategic thinking with strong planning and organizational skills
- Flexibility and willingness to travel on business, with a willingness to travel of around 10%
