The challenge

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to drive growth and market expansion within the Small Domestic Appliances (SDA) sector across the DACH region.

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the SDA market, a strong network of industry contacts, and a proven track record in developing and executing successful sales strategies.

You will play a key role as Business Development Manager SDA DACH to help continue our success.

The position is offered on a Hybrid or Remote working basis depending upon location, with travel to our Munich office as required.

What you will do

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities to expand market share in the SDA sector across the DACH region.

  • Build and maintain relationships with key retailers, distributors, and e-commerce partners supporting their growth plans.

  • Manage relationships with existing accounts; retail and online.

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to drive revenue growth and meet company objectives.

  • Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Product Development, and Supply Chain, to ensure successful product launches and market penetration.

  • Negotiate and manage contracts, pricing structures, and promotional activities with key accounts.

  • Monitor sales performance, analyze key metrics, and report on business development initiatives.

  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, identifying networking opportunities to enhance brand visibility.

What you need to succeed

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

  • Extensive experience in business development, sales, or account management within the SDA or consumer electronics industry.

  • Strong knowledge of the DACH market, including key players, distribution channels, and industry trends.

  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.

  • Proven ability to deliver sales and achieve revenue targets in a competitive market.

  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.

  • Proficiency in German and English (written and spoken); additional language skills are a plus.

  • Willingness to travel frequently within the DACH region.
