Short description

Our client, a leading offshore operator, seeks a Mid-Level Heavy Lift Engineer to join their team in South Holland, Netherlands.

Function description

As part of a dynamic team focused on energy transition, you’ll collaborate with Structural Engineers, Heavy Lift Engineers, Naval Architects, and Draftsmen. You’ll be involved in the entire engineering process, from concept development to on-site support during execution. Responsibilities include analyzing project specifications, performing design calculations, developing procedures and manuals, liaising with various stakeholders, and staying updated on specialized equipment. You’ll also conduct feasibility studies, design lifting gear, perform platform inspections, and manage equipment testing.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Civil, Aerospace, or Maritime Engineering or any related field.
  2. 3-5 years of relevant experience.
  3. Interest in offshore renewables and/or marine environment.
  4. Willingness to travel and work offshore.
  5. Proficiency in English.
  6. Team player with a passion for technical challenges.
  7. Creative, analytical, and self-motivated.
  8. EU passport or valid work/residency permit in the Netherlands required due to job location.
