Job Description:

We are seeking a specialist in primary accounting and document processing for a group of companies based in Romania and Germany. The ideal candidate for this role will be responsible for managing invoice entries, accounts receivables and account statements in an international working environment. They must have a professional proficiency in English and basic knowledge of German, enabling them to work with ease and understand documents in the German language.

Responsibilities :

  • Processing received invoices and recording them in the accounting system, adhering to legal requirements and regulations in Romania and Germany.

  • Gathering and verifying the necessary information for invoice processing (supplier information, prices, quantities, etc.).

  • Monitor and collect accounts receivable by contacting clients and internal account managers via email / phone.

  • Effective communication with internal departments to resolve issues related to invoices, accounts receivables or other accounting documents.

  • Managing account statements and reconciling them with the accounting records.

  • Ensuring accuracy and integrity of financial data in the accounting system.

  • Collaborating with the finance and sales departments in Romania and Germany to ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.

  • Monitor and collect accounts receivable by contacting clients and internal account managers via email / phone

  • Communicate discrepancies to management team, identify slow-paying customers, and recommend collection candidates

  • Previous experience in primary accounting and document processing.

  • Strong knowledge in accounting and tax regulations in Romania and Germany.

  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, at a professional level.

  • Basic knowledge of German language to understand accounting documents.

  • Analytical skills and attention to detail to identify and correct potential errors in financial documents.

  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment, handling multiple tasks and tight deadlines.

  • Advanced knowledge in the use of accounting systems and software (ERP).
