Specializing in satellite communications and optical ground stations, this company is known for delivering high-performance solutions for satellite ground segment infrastructure worldwide. With a strong emphasis on collaboration and hands-on development, engineers here have the opportunity to see the direct impact of their work.

The Role: As an RF Engineer, you’ll be working on cutting-edge satellite ground segment technology, contributing to the design, development, and optimization of high-frequency communication products. Your expertise will be key in integrating RF converters, modems, and other subsystems essential for satellite and defense applications. This is an opportunity to work on critical RF systems that enable seamless connectivity in space communications.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and optimize RF systems for satellite communication ground stations.

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including software, FPGA, and hardware engineers, to ensure seamless integration of RF subsystems.

  • Contribute to system architecture, ensuring high-performance RF designs for satellite and defense applications.

  • Conduct RF testing, troubleshooting, and performance evaluation in both lab and field environments.

  • Support ongoing developments in optical and laser communication systems as the company expands its expertise beyond RF.

Who You Are:

  • You have 5-10 years of hands-on RF engineering experience, ideally in satellite communications, radar, or high-frequency telecommunications.

  • You’re a pragmatic problem solver, able to anticipate challenges and proactively find solutions.

  • Your expertise includes RF circuit design, frequency conversion, signal integrity, and system integration.

  • You have experience with RF simulation tools, test equipment, and measurement techniques.

  • Basic software skills in C/Python are a plus, as cross-disciplinary knowledge is highly valued.

  • You thrive in an environment where in-person collaboration drives innovation.

Why Join?

  • Innovative Work : Work on cutting-edge RF and optical communication technologies with real-world applications.

  • Collaborative Culture : Enjoy a hands-on, interactive environment where engineers work closely across disciplines.

  • Growth & Stability : With a steady flow of projects and expansion into optical ground station technology, your expertise will be valued and rewarded.

  • Work-Life Balance : Located in a scenic area near Munich, with access to vibrant city life and outdoor adventures in the Alps.

Location & Flexibility: This role is based in Bavaria, approximately 30-90 minutes from Munich, depending on your location. While home office arrangements are considered on a case-by-case basis, in-person collaboration is a key part of the company’s culture.

If you’re an RF Engineer looking for a hands-on role in satellite communications, this is an opportunity to join a team that values innovation, teamwork, and technical excellence.
