HR Manager Southeast Asia

After extensive training, you will take over the following tasks:

  • Manage the recruitment and hiring process, from drafting job advertisements to onboarding the candidates.
  • Provide guidance and support to line managers and employees on HR matters.
  • Prepare employment contracts, visa applications, employment pass extensions, salary and promotion letters as well as monitoring leave or absence.
  • Create and regularly update HR work procedures and the employee handbook.
  • Identify training providers and organize trainings for our team in Southeast Asia.
  • Contribute to strategic HR projects, including the establishment of a second production facility in Malaysia and the implementation of HR software.
  • Conduct research about compensation & benefits.
  • Perform ad-hoc HR tasks such as managing our insurance package, cooperating with universities, conducting disciplinary actions, etc.

Your skills

  • 5+ years of HR experience in Singapore (Experience in Malaysia is a plus).
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Labor Law, HR, or a related field.
  • Strong proficiency in English (both oral and written).
  • In-depth knowledge of Singaporean Labor Law (Familiarity with Malaysian Labor Law is advantageous).
  • Excellent MS Office skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and proficiency in MS Teams.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
