We are seeking an experienced Fullstack Developer to join our remote team and work on our internal patient management platform. A good candidate possesses a deep understanding of modern software design, object-oriented programming, S.O.L.I.D principles, and design patterns. Furthermore, we are looking for someone who approaches challenges systematically, values reliable technology over fleeting trends, and excels at finding straightforward solutions within our complex business domain.

Responsibilities

• Full Delivery Cycle: Participate in the full delivery cycle, from requirements analysis and design to implementation, QA, and delivery of our patient platform.
• Design Input: Engage in discussions regarding design documents, software architecture and product/process improvements.
• Quality Code: Write "clean" and well-designed code to ensure the security and maintainability of our platform.
• Troubleshooting and Optimization: Help troubleshoot, test, and optimize the core product software and databases.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure a high standard of quality, data security, and compliance for our platform by applying industry best practices in cooperation with the QA-Team
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for improvements to enhance our software and development processes.
• Mentorship: Mentor and support junior team members in their professional development.
• Requirements

Requirements

• Software Engineering Expertise: Demonstrated proficiency in recent Software Engineering practices and experience in delivering complex software projects
• Web Technology: Deep knowledge of fundamental web technologies such as HTTP, REST, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Insight: You understand the implications of premature optimization, strong coupling, and unnecessary abstractions on system architecture and are aware of the concept of innovation tokens
• PHP Expertise: Recent experience with PHP frameworks such as Laravel or Symfony.
• Database Skills: Good knowledge of relational database fundamentals and working experience with SQL.
• Frontend Frameworks: Desirable experience with JavaScript frontend frameworks.
• Team Player: Ability to communicate and work effectively in a remote, cross-functional team.
• Language Skills: Fluent in English, German would be an advantage
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience.
• Education: BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject is advantageous.
