The Opportunity
Visy Retail Services is a leading supplier & distributor of major brand hardware & retail products throughout Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom; and a strategic partner to one of Australasia's largest retailers, Bunnings. An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced and motivated Merchandiser, Refit, Sales & Account Management superstar - known internally as a Store Account Manager - to join our Queensland Sales team. Enjoy a Monday to Friday working week and use of a Company Vehicle.
About the Role
Reporting to the QLD State Sales Manager and working as part of a high achieving and experienced team, your key responsibilities will include:
- Being the 'face' of our brands and providing superior customer service to our client group
- Managing your own portfolio of Bunnings stores to Visy Retail standards
- Overseeing all aspects of Merchandising, Refit, Sales & Account Management activities for your portfolio of Bunnings stores
- Collaborating with your QLD Sales team colleagues on all things sales and service
- Building strong relationships with in-store stakeholders
- Delivering accurate and timely information and service, via telephone and email
What you will bring to the team
- An understanding of best practice customer service and sales principles
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Strong time management and organisational skills
- The ability to manage competing priorities
- A positive, professional and 'can do' attitude
- Experience using basic power/hand tools
- Proven working experience in big box retail (highly regarded)
- Experience working with hardware, homewares, furniture or related product categories (highly regarded)
Please note, successful candidates must have a valid Driver's License and be able to travel within the QLD Bunnings store network (Townsville, Cairns, Atherton and Innisfail) which includes travel totaling up to 2-3 nights per week and quarterly travel to Brisbane.
