Trainee in Trading & Commercial Track – Data Origination & Management (f/m/d)

Our Trading & Commercial Track – Data Origination & Management Team in Düsseldorf is looking for YOU! Our 18-24 months program is your gateway to an in-depth understanding of Uniper’s business and the evolving energy industry. At Uniper, you will learn, grow, and collaborate with experts across various fields. You will have the chance to share your ideas, work on projects, and shape your career within a supportive environment. You can gain international experience by doing an optional international placement. You will contribute to our active trainee community, receive training courses and development opportunities, and network both with the trainee community and the business areas.

Your responsibilities

• Start your program with a 6-month placement in Data Origination & Management. Following that, rotate flexibly upon your individual career development path and interests across Uniper.
• In your home unit, Data Origination & Management, you’ll support market data requests from the worldwide Uniper businesses, manage corresponding contracts and internal cost allocation, as well as communicate with external market data vendors.
• After your initial placement, you’ll rotate across various departments, tailoring your placements to align with your career aspirations.
• Design your individual trainee plan with guidance from a dedicated mentor who will support your personal and professional growth.

Your profile

• Successfully completed studies in business administration, operational excellence, (industrial) engineering, economics, mathematics or computer science.
• First relevant practical experiences gained through internships and/or working student activities in an international environment.
• Strong communication skills, ambition, and the ability to network among different stakeholders, paired with analytical skills, accuracy, and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in English is required; German is a plus.
