Your tasks and responsibilities:
- Execute the day-to-day accounting operations for private equity funds in order to maintain financial and non-financial records
- Supervise, coach and develop more junior team members on operational topics
- Preparation of various calculations e.g. expenses, waterfalls and others
- Preparation of NAV calculations and NAV reporting package, tax reporting and regulatory reporting when required
- Investigating discrepancies and ensuring strong internal controls
- Reconciliation of cash, portfolio and other balances
- Preparation of audit files and support external audit requirements
- Primary contact for clients on operational topics and NAV sign-off
- Interaction with internal departments within Private Assets Services and other internal stakeholders
- Other project related responsibilities, including process development and improvements
Your skills and experience:
- Previous professional experience in the alternative fund industry with experience in private equity or real estate
- University degree in Finance, Economics, or equivalent would be an asset
- Very good English language skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Very good time management and analytical skills
