As a Senior Technical Product Manager – Heat Pump (m/f/d) , you will drive the technical vision and strategy for our heat pump offering. You are deep into the technology, understand how heat pumps work from a hardware and software perspective. You define technical requirements in order to integrate our heat pumps even better in our energy management system and virtual power plant. You align the different technical teams on what needs to be built in order to deliver the best technical heat pump product in the market.

At Enpal, you will be responsible for:

• Product Vision & Strategy: Define and drive the technical product vision, strategy, and roadmap for our heat pump offering.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Lead complex product development efforts across multiple teams, especially with the commercial product team defining and sharing the customer wishes, and the engineering teams delivering hardware and software features.
• Stakeholder Management & Communication: Drive alignment across the organization by managing stakeholders at all levels. Provide high-level reporting on key initiatives, metrics, and OKRs. Transform complex technical concepts into clear business value propositions.
• Technical Product Development: Own the product lifecycle from discovery to delivery, prioritizing features and capabilities based on business impact and technical constraints. Build and maintain the technical landscape overview and investment needs for security, resilience, and scalability initiatives.
• Technical Problem Solving: Drive technical decisions through a deep understanding of system requirements, heat pump knowledge, and infrastructure constraints. Engage with engineering teams, operations, hardware specialists, and other technical stakeholders to gather insights and balance competing needs for optimal development.

You have a strategic mindset, technical depth with heat pumps , and a passion for building great products. You combine technical and communication skills.

• You have 4+ years of technical heat pump experience , ideally a background in engineering, with demonstrated success in driving cross-team initiatives and delivering great products.
• You have a proven track record of shipping successful products and features, with experience in agile methodologies and product development processes.
• You excel in product discovery, prioritization , and roadmap development, with the ability to balance technical debt, feature development, and business needs.
• You have strong analytical skills with data-driven decision-making experience and the ability to define and track relevant metrics.
• You have outstanding communication skills in both English and German, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to various audiences and drive alignment across teams.
• You have a self-driven mindset with the ability to operate independently in ambiguous environments, take ownership, and drive results.
• You have a pragmatic approach to product development with focus on iterative improvements while maintaining high standards for security, resilience, and scalability.
