Senior Solution Design & Procurement Manager

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop Transportation Strategies: Create and implement transportation strategies that drive business growth and align with company objectives.
2. Innovative Solution Engineering: Design and implement innovative transportation solutions, including route optimization, carrier selection, and technology integration.
3. Procurement Management: Oversee the sourcing, tendering, and procurement of transportation services, ensuring the selection of the right partners.
4. Team Leadership: Guide and develop a team of transportation solution design and procurement managers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
5. Strategic Carrier Management: Manage relationships with carriers, ensuring strategic alignment and performance excellence. Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor carrier performance and compliance with service level agreements (SLAs).
6. Cost Management: Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities while maintaining high service quality.
7. Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Business Verticals, Transportation Operations, IS TMS and Project Management, to ensure seamless integration of transportation solutions.
8. Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance transportation efficiency, sustainability, and customer satisfaction.
9. Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contracts with carriers and logistics providers to secure favorable terms and conditions.
10. Market Analysis: Conduct market analysis to stay informed about industry trends and leverage insights to improve transportation strategies.
