Job Description

This Hybrid Oracle DBA position is with a well-recognized name in the insurance industry. The company is looking for an Oracle DBA who'd contribute to its enormous project of migration to a microservices environment. This position is best suited for an experienced person looking to collaborate on significant and technically-oriented projects.

The role involves actively working in a microservices and Oracle environment, database performance tuning, and implementation of strategies for High Availability and Disaster Recovery.

Responsibilities

  • Determine, enforce, and document database policies, procedures, and standards in an Oracle environment
  • Perform tests and evaluations to ensure data security, privacy, and integrity
  • Guide Application Developers and make recommendations for system improvements

Skills/Experience

  • 8+ years of DBA / Engineering experience
  • 2+ years of cloud-based microservices DBA experience
  • Experience with Oracle needed; MySQL would be a plus

Salary / Remuneration

€500 - €600/day (6-month contract)
