Job Purpose

The Salesforce Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing Salesforce solutions, with a focus on Lightning (Aura/LWC) and integration using REST APIs. The candidate will work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and develop customized solutions that enhance business processes. They will also provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members while ensuring best practices in Salesforce development, security, and performance optimization.

Roles And Responsibilities

• Develop and customize Salesforce applications using Apex, Lightning (Aura/LWC), and Visualforce.
• Design and implement integrations using REST APIs to connect Salesforce with external systems.
• Work with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Community Cloud to build scalable and efficient solutions.
• Ensure adherence to Salesforce best practices, governor limits, and security standards.
• Deploy solutions using change sets, Metadata API, and tools like ANT and Git for version control.
• Troubleshoot and optimize Salesforce applications for performance and scalability.
• Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior developers.
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions within agreed timelines.
• Stay up to date with Salesforce platform enhancements and proactively implement improvements.

Must-Have Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce application development experience (6+ years of overall IT experience).
• Expertise in Lightning (Aura/LWC) for UI development.
• Experience in REST API integrations and developing Apex classes/triggers.
• Strong understanding of Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Community Cloud.
• Knowledge of Salesforce governor limits, performance monitoring, and security best practices.
• Hands-on experience with deployment tools like change sets, Metadata API, ANT, and version control tools like Git.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in German and English.
• Self-motivated, problem-solving mindset with the ability to mentor a small technical team.
• Ability to understand business requirements and deliver solutions within deadlines.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

• Salesforce certifications (PD1/PD2, JavaScript Developer 1).
• Experience with Salesforce DX (SFDx) for development and deployment.
• Knowledge of JavaScript for front-end development in Salesforce.
