With our solid product-market fit, we are now looking to bring on an experienced Director of Engineering to lead our talented engineering team as we scale our solutions further.
As the Director of Engineering, you will be at the forefront of driving the technical strategy and development of our product. You’ll be responsible for overseeing the entire engineering team, ensuring we maintain a high standard of engineering excellence while meeting the growing demands of our customers. We’re looking for someone who has a strong software development background, is hands-on when needed, and has the leadership experience to guide teams toward success in a fast-paced scale-up environment.
What you will do
- Lead, mentor, and manage a growing team of software engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and technical excellence.
- Define and execute the engineering strategy, aligned with the company’s overall vision and growth objectives.
- Ensure the engineering team delivers high-quality, scalable, and reliable software that meets customer needs.
- Actively contribute to the hands-on development process, leveraging your expertise to provide technical direction and solve complex problems.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Design, and Operations teams to ensure seamless product development and execution.
- Establish engineering best practices and continuously improve development processes, ensuring efficiency, code quality, and speed to market.
- Play a key role in hiring, retaining, and growing engineering talent to support our long-term objectives.
- Work closely with senior leadership to shape the company’s technical roadmap and contribute to strategic decision-making.
A bit about us
- Proven experience as a hands-on software developer with a deep understanding of modern software engineering principles.
- At least 5 years of experience in engineering leadership roles, ideally in high-growth or scale-up environments.
- Strong expertise in leading engineering teams and managing multiple engineering functions, such as architecture, quality, and operations.
- A strategic thinker with the ability to align engineering efforts with business goals and product vision.
- Expertise in agile methodologies and a passion for continuous improvement in development processes.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a hands-on approach to tackling complex technical challenges.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
