About the role
BYD EUROPE BV is currently looking for an Aftersales Service Specialist for the BYD Electric Forklift Division for Iberia market. The Aftersales Service Specialist will be responsible for providing training, technical support and on-site service to dealers and end-customers in this region. He/she will be based in Spain and will report to Aftersales Service Manager Iberia.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide field support to BYD Forklift dealers in Iberia, as well as support to other regions upon request
- Facilitate technical training activities for the dealers
- Warranty claim management of the dealers
- Technical communication / explanation / product improvements input
- Perform customer visits with dealers regarding after-sales issues / support
- Assist with dealership appointment
- Provide Technical Sales support to Country Manager as required
Main duties:
- Remote technical support to dealers for troubleshooting
- Travel to dealers and end customers to perform troubleshooting and resolve technical failures
- Draw-up training plan with the A/S managers and provide technical trainings
- Release and circulate technical bulletins and documentations to dealers
- Assist country manager and key account manager for site survey for sales support
- Perform customer visits with dealers regarding after-sales issues / support
- Assist with dealer assessment on service capabilities for dealer appointments
- Handling warranty claims from the market responsible
- Generate service reports for the local market
Candidate profile:
- Electrical and electronic full knowledge
- PC use with office pack, other software will be a plus
- Basic knowledge on mechanical and hydraulic system
- Excellent planning organization
- Excellent capacity to work in group or as a supervisor
- Knowledge and compliance with safety rules
- Remote and on-field troubleshooting capacity
- Communication skills
- Spanish speaking with English written and spoken skills high level
- Available to travel EU / extra EU for short period
- Valid driver license
