Masento Search are working with a leading global consumer goods organization known for its innovative products and commitment to customer satisfaction. With a strong presence in Munich, they are dedicated to delivering high-quality consumer goods to customers worldwide.

My client are seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to join our team as the Head of SAP. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of our SAP systems, ensuring they align with our business goals and drive operational excellence. The successful candidate will lead a team of SAP professionals, collaborate with various departments, and contribute to the overall success of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

1. SAP Strategy and Planning:

   • Develop and implement a comprehensive SAP strategy aligned with the organization’s goals and objectives.
   • Continuously evaluate emerging SAP technologies and trends to enhance efficiency and competitiveness.

2. Team Leadership:

   • Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing SAP team, fostering a culture of innovation and accountability.
   • Set clear performance goals and provide ongoing feedback and development opportunities to team members.

3. SAP System Management:

   • Oversee the configuration, maintenance, and optimization of SAP systems to ensure they operate efficiently and reliably.
   • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues, working closely with IT support teams.

4. Business Process Integration:

   • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate SAP processes into various business units, ensuring seamless operations and data flow.
   • Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation within SAP systems.

5. Compliance and Security:

   • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards.
   • Implement and maintain robust security measures to protect sensitive data within SAP systems.

6. Vendor and Stakeholder Management:

   • Manage relationships with SAP service providers, ensuring service level agreements are met.
   • Act as a liaison between the SAP team and other departments, addressing their needs and priorities.

7. Budget and Resource Management:

   • Develop and manage the SAP budget, optimizing resource allocation for projects and maintenance.
   • Evaluate and recommend investments in SAP technology and infrastructure.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Proven experience in SAP leadership roles with at least 8-10 years in SAP management.
• Strong knowledge of SAP modules such as SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, SAP BW, and SAP Fiori.
• Excellent leadership, team-building, and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute SAP strategies that drive business growth.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Familiarity with consumer goods industry practices is a plus.
• SAP certification(s) is a significant advantage.
• English and German speaking
