Your tasks:
- Creation, documentation and archiving of all relevant documents for export and intra-community delivery including customs clearance.
- Preparation of customs clearance in the import area.
- Booking/monitoring of transports from the supplier to the plants.
- Correspondence with all parties involved in the customs context (export/import).
- Review and apply preference and origin rules and export restrictions.
- Maintenance of customs-relevant master data in the ERP.
- Inquires and negotiates transportation rates and schedules shipments.
- Analysis of customs and transportation costs.
- Preparation of INTRASTAT declarations.
Your profile:
- A successfully completed commercial training, preferably as a forwarding agent or a comparable qualification.
- Several years of professional experience in export and customs clearance in a medium-sized company, familiar with ATLAS, IAA+, INTRASTAT.
- Good knowledge of customs and sales tax regulations, the law of origin of goods and preferential costing.
- Confident handling of the MS-Office package, especially Excel, and good user skills in dealing with a modern ERP system.
- Fluent in German and business fluent in English.
- Structured and independent approach to work, ability to work in a team, flexibility, intercultural understanding and technical affinity.
