Duration: Depending on the qualifications of the applicant(s) selected, this may be a temporary promotion, NTE 120 days, or a detail with the possibility of an extension(s).
The Knowledge Services Group (KSG) is offering an opportunity for a qualified Administrative Coordinator to serve on a full-time detail or temporary promotion. More than one applicant may be selected to serve on a rotating basis. The successful candidate(s) will gain excellent work experience in supporting the administrative functions in the KSG, which provides reference services to congressional clients; and knowledge management, acquisition and collections, and technical services to CRS staff.
AVAILABILITY: Applicants must be a current Library of Congress employee serving in a permanent or indefinite position. Due to no intervening grade, time in grade at the GS-10 is not required for this GS-11 opportunity.
DUTIES
The individual(s) selected will:
- Schedule and arrange meetings for the KSG Assistant Director and staff.
- Maintain records related to employee performance reviews, requests for travel and training, and other administrative operations.
- Submit requests for office supplies and equipment.
- Assist with other administrative duties as assigned.
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES EXPECTED:
- Ability to provide administrative coordination and program support.
- Ability to schedule and arrange meetings.
- Ability to manage correspondences.
- Ability to conduct special projects and studies.
