Your Responsibilities:

In this pivotal role, you will command the continuous orchestration of deck and safety operations, ensuring ships are optimally maintained and upgraded. With a keen eye on budgeting and spare parts management, you will guarantee cost-effective solutions while standing ready to lead audits. - Ensure the correct planning and timely execution of all deck & safety operations pertaining to the daily activities, maintenance, improvements and technical modifications for the assigned ships
- Manage and is responsible for the vessels deck budgets & spare parts management
- Prepare and support for audits and inspections and also participate in onboard audits
- Follow up on findings in liaison and guidance with Cruise Governance/ Audit Management and documentation of findings in the Global HESS-MS platform
- Support Cruise Governance and the DPA as a subject matter expert
- Participate in regular HESS-/ Safety meetings together with HESS SI Environment, HESS SI USPH, Nautical & Safety SI under guidance of the Head of Safety and/or DPA
Your Profile:
- Bachelor´s degree or equivalent and minimum 3 years of professional experience in shipboard operations and preferably in the maritime sector
- IMO license is mandatory
- Junior leadership experience as Staff Captain or Safety Officer is desirable
- Safety driven and having a cooperative attitude
- Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office
- Very good command of the English language (English is our Company’s official language)
