Storyboard Artist

You will collaborate closely with the Creative Lead and Script Writer to understand and visualize the script, concepts, and storytelling requirements. Be able to portray dramatic character emotions fit for 4-year-old kids. Create clear and visually appealing storyboards that effectively communicate the narrative, pacing, camera angles, and action sequences. Use your artistic skills to bring characters, emotions, and environments to life, ensuring the visual coherence and consistency of the series. Incorporate dynamic compositions, shot framing, and visual cues to enhance the storytelling and engage the target audience. Work closely with the animation team to ensure the smooth transition from storyboards to final animation, providing necessary guidance and clarifications. Iterate and revise storyboards based on feedback from the creative team and producer, maintaining a high level of quality and accuracy.

You should have:

• Proven experience as a Storyboard Artist, preferably in 3D or 2D animation.
• Proficiency in digital storyboard software and tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Toon Boom Harmony, Storyboard Pro, etc.).
• Strong understanding of visual storytelling principles, including shot composition, staging, pacing, and continuity.
• Excellent drawing and illustration skills, with the ability to convey emotions, action, and environments effectively.
• Familiarity with 3D or 2D animation techniques, terminology, and limitations.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with the Creative Lead and other stakeholders.
• Attention to detail and the ability to deliver high-quality work within tight deadlines.
• Passion for children.
