WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

As the Installation Project Manager, you will be working directly with CPI's clients, internal stakeholders, and vendors to ensure the highest level of communication and execution for all equipment installation activities. The Installation Project Manager will have a direct impact on our Service Operations group, responsible for:

  • Partnering with the Sales Organization to establish a pipeline of upcoming installations.
  • Establishing with the customer a timeline of activities culminating in the successful installation and bring live of equipment.
  • Partnering with internal stakeholders, as well as electricians, riggers, and other outside vendors to ensure timelines are effectively communicated and met.
  • Working to find creative solutions to issues that may put the installation timeline in jeopardy.

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

You will bring an in-depth knowledge of the installation project management field coupled with well demonstrated success in project management, problem solving, and communication.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and deliverables, to ensure successful equipment installations.
  • Customer Interaction: Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, maintaining open communication, addressing concerns, and ensuring their expectations are met and exceeded.
  • Resource Management: Coordinate with external resources, such as riggers and electricians, as well as internal teams, including field service technicians and managers, to ensure efficient project execution.
  • Timeline Management: Work under tight timelines and proactively identify and address potential project delays or issues to keep projects on track.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all equipment installations meet the highest quality standards and comply with company and industry regulations.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports, budgets, and project schedules.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate project risks, making data-driven decisions to minimize disruptions.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and drive initiatives to enhance project management practices.

Ability to travel up to 25%.

Personal Attributes

  • Bachelor's degree in project management, business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience in project management, preferably in the installation of financial or retail equipment like ATMs, ITMs, self-checkout lanes, or smart safes.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers and internal teams.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
  • Knowledge of the banking, retail, gaming, or vending industries is an advantage.
