In order to support software engineering, Airbus Helicopters is offering an Internship (d/f/m) within Embedded Software Engineering. Airbus Helicopters' Software department is responsible for the development and integration of embedded software, implementing safety critical functionalities. The team is involved in the development of in-house solutions and is supporting the development of products developed by other entities, ensuring that the development processes follow the applicable guidelines for certification.
Your location: At our Donauwörth site, located on the banks of the river Danube, we develop helicopters from the initial idea to the airworthy product. Watch them take off and touch down on our own on-site test airfield.

Your tasks and responsibilities
Within a cross functional team you will be able to participate in the different development activities:
- Specification & Validation of the need
- Coding
- Testing (on Simulation and with hardware in the loop)
Desired skills and qualifications
- You are an enrolled full time student (d/f/m) in engineering studies within electronics, computer science, aerospace, or equivalent.
- First experience within software development projects.
- You are passionate about software development.
- You are capable of bringing in new ideas.
- Language skills: English - negotiation level (German/French is beneficial).
