We are the Digital Design, Manufacturing & Services (DDMS) team and are concerned with digitalization at Airbus. We are an international team and work on a wide range of digitalization projects. To optimize our design and manufacturing processes, we are looking for talented students who would like to actively support us with fresh thinking, drive and a lot of curiosity.

In order to support our team we are looking for an

Intern (d/f/m) to support the modeling of business process management (BPM) processes, IT conception, data & process mining

We are currently looking for students specifically in the area of product life cycle management for activities related to process modeling, process mining, data mining, AI programming and project management.

• Duration: 6 Months

You will be working at the largest production site for civil aircraft situated in Hamburg. Its location on the southern banks of the river Elbe includes the option to commute by ferry. Your tasks and responsibilities

• Support in modeling business process management processes and UML diagrams
• Recording of the AS-IS processes and the associated data flows for the production and engineering areas of the Airbus A320 electrical installations
• Creation of the AS-IS tool landscape
• Definition von Tool – & Process-Evolution Roadmaps
• Participation in the conception of IT projects
• Participation in the analysis and optimization of processes (design, commissioning and production of electrical installations)
• Support in testing the software
• Definition of business acceptance tests for newly developed software and processes
• Taking on tasks within internal projects
• Support in the preparation, implementation and follow-up of workshops
• Support in change management
• Design and update of project roadmaps and stakeholder maps.
• Support for individual digitization projects by creating reports and decision-making bases based on data and process mining (e.g. Skywise & Celonis & Google Suite & Klaxoon & ARIS)
• Collect, structure, analyze, prepare and visualize data and information in the Google Suite environment.
• Support the team and provide ideas to automate/simplify current administrative tasks
• Accompanying ideation campaigns to develop new concepts for the use of new technologies on Airbus processes
• Supporting the team in general administrative tasks.

Desired skills and qualifications

• Enrolled (master’s) full-time student (d/f/m) in the field of business informatics, computer science, engineering or similar.
• Basic knowledge of business process modeling or willingness to acquire it.
• Google Suite knowledge and knowledge of a programming language of your choice (Python, Matlab, C).
• Initiative and analytical thinking.
• Motivation and team spirit as well as Hands-On & Can-Do Attitude.
• business fluent English skills.
• Programming & technology affinity.
