Job Description:
In order to support SATCOM Space & Airborne Sol, Airbus Defence and Space is looking for a Combat Cloud Network, Routing and Integration Expert (d/f/m).
Mission of the Job
- Lead of the national FCAS activities in the area of robust communication.
- Harmonization of the national FACS tasks within the three-national activities.

Your tasks and responsibilities
- Integration, adaption of routing SW.
- Close cooperation with SW development and simulation.
- System Engineering based on DOORS and CAMEO.
- Analysis of operational requirements, derivation and validation of functional requirements.
- Creation of delivery documentation.
Desired skills and qualifications
- Educated to degree level in Communication Systems and Networking or equivalent.
- Knowledge of Satellite Communication Systems with understanding of SatCom aircraft implementation/integration would be a plus.
- Experienced in the conduction of multinational projects and in Agile project management methods (Scrum, SAFe).
- Communication protocols including quality of service aspects, air interface techniques, upper layer techniques in IP and networking.
- Modelling and simulation of routing algorithms in Matlab/C++/Python.
- Telecommunication system analysis and dimensioning would be a plus.
- Several years of experience in aerospace or telecommunication industry and military operational background would be a plus.
- Experience of 5G/6G networks/communications would be a plus.
- Experience in DOORS, Matlab/Simulink for communication system modelling, C++, Python and CAMEO is a plus.
- Advanced English and German required.
This position will require a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities.
