Job Description
In order to support the Supply Chain and Logistics, Airbus Defence and Space is looking for an Intern within Supply Chain and Logistics (d/f/m). As an intern you will acquire an in-depth insight into the Supply Chain and Logistics A400M department for a German Air Force customer.
Location: Wunstorf
Start: as soon as possible
Duration: at least 6 months
Your location Wunstorf is located in the immediate vicinity of Hanover, the state capital of Lower Saxony and directly on the Steinhuder Meer. The workplace is located at the air force base with direct contact to customer and product.

Your tasks and responsibilities
- Digitalization and support for a Knowledge Management Tool creation.
- Execute the material operations service in accordance with the Customer contract requirements and in coherence and coordination with the Material Support Centre of Competence.
- Execute the warehouse activities, repairs, warranty claims, retrofit, DR and QUA, TAB, Inbound & Outbound flows including quality and export compliance for spares and AGEs.
- Solve operational issues on a daily basis together with the Material Support Centre of Competence, the Material Manager, the Material Operations Manager and the custom.
- Execute the mentioned flows in the different ERPs related to the contract: SAP, MDNPro and SASPF.
Desired skills and qualifications
- Enrolled full time student (d/f/m) within Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain or similar field of study.
- Programming skills on C or C+ will be appreciated.
- Experience using Microsoft Office package will be taken into account.
- Driven, motivated with a willingness to take initiative.
- Coordination and organizational skills, highly pro-active to interact with all necessary stakeholders.
- Process oriented with high interest in continuous improvement and practical solutions, very high attention to details and rigor guaranteeing the service performance and avoiding non-qualities.
- Advanced German and English skills.
- You are a good team player, have excellent communication skills, and are able to work independently.
