What you`ll do:
Summary:
Our services are designed and implemented using cutting-edge technologies, especially Kubernetes, and are running at large scale in all major cloud provider infrastructures. With a strong focus on reusability across the SAP HANA Database & Analytics portfolio, we are fulfilling our responsibility to provide an enterprise-ready unified data and semantics layer that ultimately enables our customers to build mission-critical, scalable, and reliable applications on top of our services.

The Role:
As a Developer and Cloud Engineer you will join an agile team and share with them responsibility for managing and provisioning our service infrastructure. You will help automate landscape deployment on various hyperscalers and improve the availability, scalability, and reliability of our services. Our teams are empowered and self-organizing. You will participate in the design, implementation, and high-quality delivery of the solution. You may have to respond to incidents and their root cause analysis.

What you bring:

• Very good degree in computer science, informatics, business informatics or related areas
• Experience and strong interest in container management (Docker, Kubernetes), Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, Puppet)
• Experience with cloud offerings of the major hyperscalers (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages, preferably Python or Golang
• Very good language skills in English
• We are looking for a team player with extraordinary soft skills.
• 2+ years of relevant work experience
