Boston Scientific Corporation is seeking a Principal EMEA Product Manager for the Single Shot FARAPULSE Therapeutics. This role supports relevant product franchises in achieving their division's goals and objectives, driving business growth through market intelligence, competitive analysis, product positioning, marketing plans, product launches, and training in coordination with the Sales organization.
The successful candidate will manage two key strategic products: FARAWAVE and the yet-to-launch FARAWAVE Nav PFA ablation technology. This position is highly strategic within the EMEA Marketing organization, focusing on maximizing market penetration and gaining share for the Electrophysiology (EP) portfolio.
In This Role, You Will Be Responsible For:
- Market Development: Assist in the development and execution of EMEA market strategies; identify clinical/market trends and suggest new product/marketing opportunities; create and manage Physician training programs; implement strategic marketing plans consistent with overall franchise goals.
- Product / Market Management: Develop, coordinate, and execute training for the sales force; facilitate Physician to Physician training; develop downstream sales tools; support local franchise sales force; participate in main customer events; develop and implement launch strategies.
- Product Development: Communicate market needs to Global Marketing; conduct continuous product evaluations; contribute to prioritization input for new product development.
- Building and Maintaining Relationships: Establish relationships with key thought leaders; identify key Physician champions; develop support structure with sales representatives; maintain regional key opinion registers; coordinate Physician symposiums.
- Planning and Analysis: Maintain product forecast; develop operational product launch strategies; assist in providing market potential/analysis; track financial performance of products; assist in developing the franchise budget.
- Quality: Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures; facilitate and share documents to address complaints or problems; champion quality requirements and compliance messages.
What Are We Looking For In You:
- Business, Marketing or Healthcare studies degree
- 5+ years' work experience in a Product Manager function or equivalent position
- Experience in medical device and/or pharmaceutical sector; additional experience in Electrophysiology (EP) is an advantage
- Strong commercial background with a proven track record in marketing planning and execution
- Understanding of digital transformation and customer experience preferred
- Good clinical understanding and project management skills
- Very good analytical, creative, and out-of-the-box thinking skills
- Proficient in written and spoken English
- Based in or near Dusseldorf (Germany), Voisins-le-Bretonneux (France), Hemel Hempstead (UK), Milan (Italy), or Madrid (Spain)
