IFRS Accounting Specialist

An established company is seeking an experienced IFRS Accounting Specialist to join their team. This role is pivotal in ensuring IFRS-compliant accounting, preparing consolidated financial statements, and serving as an internal consultant for IFRS-related matters, including M&A, equity transactions, and leasing. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing in-house IFRS guidelines, performing quality checks on financial reporting, and designing an internal control system for financial reporting. Your Responsibilities

• Ensure IFRS-compliant accounting across the organization
• Prepare consolidated financial statements
• Act as an internal consultant for IFRS-related topics, including M&A, equity transactions, and leasing
• Develop and implement in-house IFRS accounting guidelines
• Conduct quality checks for financial reporting packages
• Design and implement an internal control system for financial reporting
• Deliver IFRS training sessions across the organization

Desired Qualifications

• University degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
• Extensive knowledge and experience with IFRS regulations and standards
• Proven experience in a group accounting department or auditing firm
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment
