IT Project Manager Terminal Systems (m/f/d)

COME ONBOARD AT ROSTOCK PORT – As the Infrastructure Company of the Port of Rostock, it is our task to develop the largest port in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern in such a way that it meets the ever-increasing demands of the shipping industry and tourism. We would like to strengthen our IT team in the Port Logistics Department and are looking for a new member of staff to start as soon as possible.

Your Area of Responsibility:

• Project-related planning, implementation, optimization, and control of the terminal systems in the ferry and RORO terminal area.
• Development control, administration, and maintenance of existing individual software.
• Requirements management and coordination of external and internal interface and service partners.
• User support, problem solving, and incident management.
• Consulting and training as required.
• Monitoring and securing the high availability of the entire system including data protection.

Your Profile:

• Completed technical/university studies in the field of computer science and/or comparable IT training/proven knowledge.
• Software knowledge in PHP, XML, API, Linux and Windows operating systems, SQL databases desirable.
• Experience in the IT area of port logistics and/or IT terminal systems/scanning systems is an advantage.
• Good technical and communication skills for consulting and service.
• Good command of English.
• Ability to work in a team.
