Pixomondo is currently looking for a HR and Payroll Manager to join the team starting 1. June 2025. This position is a parental leave cover.

Responsibilities
- Provide business-focused and best practice HR support to the team.
- Act as a primary contact on HR / Payroll / Benefits for all German employees on all HR-related matters for the team.
- Partner with People Managers / HODs to advise and manage performance, attendance or other employee relations issues.
- Review salary benchmarking data to ensure correct application of salaries, in partnership with the Resourcing Manager when hiring new staff.
- Lead cyclic events such as the annual salary review.
- Manage the German payroll for Stuttgart and Frankfurt. Enter and check monthly German payroll data using the payroll system, ADP Celergo.
- Ensure all payroll calculations comply with German labor laws, tax regulations, social security contributions, and other statutory requirements.
- Process and forward subsequent payroll processes, such as request letters, communication with authorities and institutions, A1 certificates, and sick notes.
- Stay informed of any changes in relevant employment legislation.
- Maintain the HRIS to ensure accuracy of data.
- Organise together with our Studio Manager Team events and exhibitions.
- Lead on general HR project work, reporting and HR administration as requested by the Group Head of People or Head of Studio.
Requirements
- Previous HR business partner / manager experience.
- Experience in payroll accounting and knowledge of German tax, labor and social security law.
- Self-starter with good sense of prioritization, able to deliver to tight deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft office applications.
- Payroll processing experience – Experience of ADP and SAP beneficial, not essential.
- Experience in Payroll system implementation beneficial.
- Excellent attention to detail and able to provide accurate data reporting / information when requested.
- Excellent multitasking ability and balancing multiple priorities.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Proven ability to work as part of a team working in a fast-paced environment.
- Enthusiastic studio champion creating a warm and welcoming environment for the team to work.
