We are looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Specialist – Indirect Tax to join our global Indirect Tax team. In this role, you will ensure compliance with EMEA indirect tax regulations, contribute to global tax projects, and drive process improvements. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support international tax matters, ensure compliance, and optimize indirect tax processes. Your mission

1. Ensure compliance with VAT, GST, and other indirect tax regulations across multiple EMEA jurisdictions.
2. Monitor and analyse changes in EMEA VAT rules and tax frameworks to assess their impact on business operations.
3. Support the development and implementation of global indirect tax projects.
4. Develop and deliver training materials to enhance tax knowledge across teams.
5. Lead workshops and create user-friendly guides on tax processes, including invoicing, record-keeping, and tax treatment for new products.
6. Manage indirect tax audits, working closely with tax authorities and internal stakeholders.
7. Identify and implement process improvements and automation solutions to optimize tax compliance and efficiency.
8. Work cross-functionally with finance, sales, and operations to ensure accurate tax reporting and compliance with cross-border trade and supply chain tax regulations.
9. Support the implementation of tax technology solutions and ERP system enhancements.
10. Participate in global indirect tax projects.

Your story

1. 5+ years of experience in indirect tax, VAT, or GST compliance, with a strong focus on EMEA regulations.
2. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Tax, or a related field; tax certifications (CTA, CPA) are a plus.
3. Experience working in a multinational company or a Big 4 accounting firm.
4. Proficiency in tax compliance software and ERP systems (SAP, D365, or similar).
5. Ability to adapt to changing regulations.
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
7. Excellent communication skills in English; additional European language skills are a plus.
8. Proactive and collaborative mindset, with the ability to work across departments.
