Hello, at 21TORR, you are enthusiastic about the latest trends in web development, DevOps & cloud services, have a good overview of modern application architectures and feel comfortable in cross-functional teams?

Do you want to work in a solution-oriented way, have experience with agile working according to Scrum and good English skills? Do you always keep an eye on things like performance and bundle size and have a good feel for communicating with your interdisciplinary colleagues? And are you just as interested in the server side as in everything that happens in the browser?

We build our web projects with a variety of tools – but you definitely don\’t need to know them all or even be able to use them productively:

1. For large web projects, we rely on a Symfony backend with a Next.js frontend.
2. We implement stores with Shopify or Shopware.
3. We also build smaller projects without a backend as a standalone Next.js application.
4. We connect interfaces via REST (or sometimes GraphQL).
5. In the frontend, we pay attention to semantic HTML and use TypeScript and SCSS.
6. We use SVGs for illustrative elements and are not afraid to tweak and optimize them.
7. Code management is done in Git and Gitlab.
8. We check our code quality with PHPUnit, PHPStan, PHP-CS-Fixer, ESLint, etc.
9. Local development happens in DDEV or in the local web server.
10. For hosting, we rely on DevOps and deploy to PaaS hosters (Platform.sh, Netlify, Vercel, etc.) or our Docker containers directly in a managed Kubernetes cluster.

What you bring with you:

1. Practical project experience in Symfony, good knowledge of PHP (PHP 8+).
2. Experience in implementing dynamic frontends with React in modern ECMAScript and TypeScript.
3. Good knowledge of Postgres / MariaDB or MySQL.
4. Git knowledge and experience with Gitlab or Github.
5. Analytical thinking and clean programming structure.
6. Product-oriented and goal-focused way of working.
